Volunteer Copywriter and Scriptwriter

Salary: Volunteer

Hours: Minimum fifteen (15) hours weekly

Contract: Minimum six‑month commitment

Location: Remote

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic copywriter/scriptwriter with a passion for sustainability to work with our friendly, dynamic team and inspire people around the world to make a better future.

Key Responsibilities

- Write transparent and engaging articles on sustainability / thrivability topics
- Create content across a variety of formats
- Research topics and sources
- Write and edit copy, ensuring quality and consistency
- Proofread and edit own work and peer reviews
- Collaborate with other copywriters and stakeholders
- Adapt to feedback and stay updated on trends
- Meet regularly with team members and present ideas

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Writing or related field
- Fluency in written English
- At least 1 year of commercial experience (or equivalent) in online content writing
- Own computer with reliable internet connection
- Strong research, writing, editing and proofreading skills

Preferred Requirements

- Basic graphic design skills
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Proactive, self‑managed time‑management
- A self‑driven mindset to make a better future for all
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Well‑developed problem‑solving abilities
