About the Role

We are seeking a senior Financial Services Business Consultant to drive account growth initiatives across banking, insurance, and broader financial services clients.

This role focuses on strategic advisory, client engagement, and business expansion. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with client stakeholders and internal account teams to identify new opportunities, shape transformation agendas, and support revenue growth across BFSI domains.

The role requires a strong blend of industry expertise, consultative selling, and business development experience within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a trusted advisor to financial services clients, identifying growth and transformation opportunities.
* Partner with account teams and leadership to define and execute growth strategies for BFSI accounts.
* Drive a hunter‐led mindset to identify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and new clients.
* Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across business and technology leadership teams.
* Identify and shape opportunities across: Banking transformation, Payment's ecosystems, Commercial banking, Risk and compliance, Digital modernization Customer experience, transformation, Data and analytics, Platform and core system transformation.
* Lead account planning, opportunity shaping, and early‐stage deal development.
* Provide industry insights, market intelligence, and tailored client recommendations.
* Collaborate with consulting, delivery, solutioning, and sales teams to position offerings effectively.
* Support definition of client pain points, strategic priorities, and future‐state roadmaps.
* Participate in client workshops, executive discussions, and advisory sessions.
* Contribute to proposal development, value articulation, and executive‐level messaging for strategic pursuits.
* Identify whitespace opportunities for cross‐sell and upsell within accounts.
* Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in financial services.

Required Skills & Experience

* 2+ years of experience in Financial Services (banking, insurance, or fintech), with a strong focus on IT services, digital transformation, or technology consulting environments.
* Proven background in business consulting, client advisory, or account growth roles.
* Demonstrated experience in consultative selling and opportunity shaping.
* Strong understanding of BFSI domains such as payments, risk, compliance, and digital transformation.
* Experience working with senior client stakeholders (C‐level / VP / Director level).
* Strong ability to identify business problems and translate them into transformation opportunities.
* Experience working with cross‐functional teams including sales, delivery, and solution architects.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to support deal shaping and revenue growth.
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
* Strong understanding of market trends and regulatory environment in financial services.
* Experience in large‐scale transformation programs or enterprise consulting firms.
* Exposure to cloud, data, or platform modernization initiatives.
* Experience in global or multi‐region financial services engagements.
* Background in pre‐sales, solution consulting, or strategic account management.
