Uniting AgeWell is seeking passionate individuals to join our Home Care team in providing support and care to elderly clients living in their own homes.
We offer a part-time role with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, requiring availability for at least 3 weekdays per week during daytime hours.
The successful applicant will have a caring and empathetic nature, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
About the Role
* Provide direct care and domestic assistance duties as well as social support and transport as required for clients.
* Ensure client's rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily living.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide effective support to clients, recognising changes in clients' conditions and escalating observations and concerns in accordance with Uniting AgeWell processes.
* Promote and participate in quality activities, providing outstanding customer service and maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends.

About You
You are passionate about supporting people to live independently in their own homes. To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* Current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence
* Experience in a home care setting or providing domestics support is desirable
