Cloud Engineer Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cloud Engineer with experience in cloud administration, project work and operations. The role involves setting up and managing cloud environments, collaborating in design and planning of cloud migrations and new developments, troubleshooting system issues, monitoring and maintaining systems and logs, answering calls and tickets to support end users with applications, hardware, software and networking, creating and maintaining system documentation and knowledge base articles, developing and maintaining technical standards and support documentation, and designing and delivering solutions to the business as part of a project team or ad-hoc as required.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in systems administration with 4+ years' experience working in cloud administration, viewed as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) who can share their knowledge and expertise. Key skills and qualifications include infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and proficiency in tools such as Terraform, Azure Devops, Jenkins, and Circles.
