TLEA is currently welcoming applications for a Full Time Health, Wellbeing, and Injury Management Coordinator to join our Kwinana team on a permanent basis.
The Health, Wellbeing and Injury Management Coordinator provides specialist coordination and support to ensure effective management of employee health, safety, and wellbeing across the organisation. The role focuses on work and non‐work related injury management, workers' compensation, health promotion, and psychosocial wellbeing initiatives, aimed at fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate early intervention and case management for employees with work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses.
* Develop, implement, and monitor individual Return‐to‐Work (RTW) programmes in consultation with injured workers, treating practitioners, and line managers.
* Manage workers compensation claims from lodgement through to closure.
* Coordinate the organisation's occupational health, hygiene and wellbeing programmes to support compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
* Coordinate workplace exposure monitoring programmes (e.g. noise, dust, vibration, hazardous substances, heat stress and airborne contaminants) and support implementation of effective controls.
* Support health surveillance and worker monitoring programmes including audiometric testing and respiratory health programmes.
* Develop and deliver health and wellbeing programmes that promote physical, mental, and social health across the workforce.
* Support the implementation of psychosocial risk management strategies in line with WHS legislation and company policy.
What you can bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Rehabilitation, or related discipline (or working towards).
* Experience in injury management, workers compensation, and health & wellbeing programme delivery.
* Previous coordination or advisory experience in health, wellbeing, or safety within the resources industry.
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and workers compensation frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
* Problem‐solving and analytical skills to identify trends and develop proactive solutions.
* Ability to manage sensitive and complex cases with empathy and professionalism.
