Who we're looking for:
We're seeking an accomplished
Commercial Manager
to lead commercial strategy and deliver outstanding financial outcomes on the upcoming Charmhaven WWTP project on the Central Coast. In this senior leadership role, you'll ensure contractual compliance, manage risk, and drive commercial excellence that underpins BMD's success. The position includes hands-on involvement in onsite project delivery at our Charmhaven location.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for large-scale projects
* Lead contract negotiations and manage risk across all project phases
* Ensure compliance with head contract obligations and legal requirements
* Oversee cost control, forecasting, and accurate financial reporting
* Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Mentor and develop the commercial team to achieve organisational goals
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in business, law, quantity surveying or related discipline
* Extensive experience in commercial management within the construction sector
* Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage complex contractual matters
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* High-level analytical and financial acumen
