About the Role:
Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a skilled
Spray Painter
to join our friendly and professional team in
Kewdale
, working on
brand-new heavy vehicles and equipment
to bring them to an automotive standard and finish. You'll also occasionally work on
crane refurbishments
, adding variety to your day-to-day tasks.
Job Description
What You'll Be Doing:
* Paint DG blends, chase painting, scratch repairs, and small bog repairs
* Mix and apply 2K paint finishes to trucks, vans, tractors, and cranes
* Carry out paint repairs to the highest standard based on written and verbal instructions
* Conduct thorough inspections on customer equipment following work instructions
* Maintain minimal rework and meet quoted KPI timeframes
* Complete all required paperwork accurately and take accountability for work quality
* Keep work areas clean and tidy to reflect the WWL brand image
* Promote and adhere to the company's OH&S systems, procedures, and policies
* Train and induct new employees, sharing knowledge and ideas to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
* Respond to reasonable requests within your scope of training or knowledge
* Ensure all work meets or exceeds customer expectations
