The Role Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds. Preparation of Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, and state tax returns such as payroll tax and land tax Preparation of statutory obligation, e.g. sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts, SMSFs Working knowledge of accounting software – Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Good understanding of income tax, payroll tax and lodging obligations on behalf of clients Working with team members to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe Bank and GL reconciliations Review BAS and income tax returns workpapers Liasing with the ATO, ASIC, clients and other professionals to ensure timely completions of tasks and compliance work Conduct year-end accounts and GL audits About You • 3 Experience in Public Practice • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail • At least a bachelor's degree in accounting • Experience in MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks Benefits of working with us • Competitive salary • One-on-one training • Onsite parking • Quarterly training and staff social events About Us Lion Sterling is a business advisory firm located in Brighton-Le-Sands.
