Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership across solution design and delivery, mentoring and guiding engineers across the team.
* Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
* Work closely with stakeholders and cross‐functional teams to understand user needs and develop system requirements, supporting and enhancing a portfolio of enterprise applications and platforms for campus operations, and delivering high‐quality solutions in line with agreed service levels.
* Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and mentor engineers across the team.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $116,262 – $127,078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
* Proven experience as a senior software engineer, with strong skills in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript).
* Strong experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., Azure (preferred), AWS), with exposure to modern cloud‐native services and practices.
* Substantial experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, with demonstrated capability to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‐grade, scalable solutions using sound engineering practices.
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to guide engineers and collaborate effectively with technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
