Title: Fullstack Engineer (.Net/Angular) | Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Based in North Sydney, NSW | Role Type: Permanent, Full-time.
We are partnering with a leading organisation within the financial services industry to hire a solid Mid‐Senior .NET Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise‐scale platforms while contributing to the adoption of AI‐enabled engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
As a Developer, you will play a key role in delivering enterprise applications and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross‐functional teams including Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Architects. You will also have the opportunity to leverage and contribute to AI‐assisted development practices, helping improve engineering efficiency, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using C# .NET and Angular.
* Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, and requirements analysis.
* Enhance and refactor existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
* Support cloud initiatives, including migration and development in Microsoft Azure.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver high‐quality software solutions.
* Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
* Support system integrations across internal and external platforms.
* Leverage AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development workflows.
* Review and validate AI‐generated outputs to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
Key Requirements
* Strong experience with .NET (4.8+), .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Razor, and C#.
* Experience building enterprise applications and Web APIs.
* Frontend development experience with Angular (preferred) or React.
* Solid experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
* Exposure to Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vaults).
* Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git/TFS.
* Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and secure coding (OWASP).
* Experience working in Agile environments.
* Exposure to AI‐assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).
* Ability to critically assess and refine AI‐generated code.
Nice to Have
* Experience within financial services or insurance.
* Exposure to modern Microsoft technologies (e.g. Blazor).
* Experience with Docker / containerisation.
* Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g. LLM APIs, RAG, AI agents).
* Experience contributing to performance, scalability, and security improvements.
Candidates must have full working rights and be currently based in Sydney, NSW.
