Job Title: Trades Assistant
About the Job: We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Logistics Division as a Trades Assistant. This is a full-time position based in Mackay & Coalfields, working Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime.
Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the packing and unpacking of project containers, test & tag, pick up and deliveries, general labouring work and Forklift operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Effective Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
* Experience in Similar Role: Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience.
* High Risk Forklift Licence: Current High Risk Forklift Licence to operate heavy machinery.
* HRWL – Dogman or Basic Rigger: HRWL – Dogman or Basic Rigger qualification or higher desirable.
* Working at Heights: Ability to work at heights safely and efficiently.
* Current Drivers Licence: Current drivers licence to operate company vehicles.
* HR Licence (highly desirable): Current HR Licence highly desirable but not essential.
