About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Wallaville.
This is a casual role with a competitive hourly rate, offering potential for conversion to a permanent contract after three months.
Monday to Friday shifts will be between 7am and 4pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, repair and maintain plant machinery and heavy vehicles
* Complete tasks efficiently to a high standard
* Supervise and train junior mechanics when required
* Work closely with parts staff to source required components
* Liaise with senior mechanics to ensure workload is managed effectively
* Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols
* Maintain clean and tidy workspaces
* Follow company policies and procedures
* Attend off-site call outs to customer premises as required
* Accurately complete job cards to support invoicing
* Report any incidents or near misses to your supervisor
