About us
Every purchase at our shops supports Australian Red Cross teams helping people as they overcome hardship, crisis, and disaster here at home and across the Asia Pacific. Right now, we need an experienced retail sales assistant who has a passion for fashion and flexibility to support the store during peak times and leave coverage.
About the role
Supported by the Shop Manager, you will help drive sales and reach targets, increase donations, and volunteer applications. You will be responsible for processing all sales through POS/cash register/eftpos accurately and in line with retail policy, as well as maintaining visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
What you will bring
* Previous experience in face-to-face customer service, retail, or sales with exceptional customer engagement skills
* Cash handling skills and stock rotation experience
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Reliability, punctuality, and a positive can-do attitude
* Passion for vintage fashion and/or recycled goods (highly advantageous)

This role is covered by the General Retail Industry Award 2020 - Level 3. Pay starts from $26.66 per hour plus superannuation, casual loading, and salary packaging options.
