Automotive Technician/Used Vehicle Reconditioner
The role is well-suited to a self-motivated individual with broad mechanical knowledge who enjoys working on a variety of vehicles, preparing them for sale and undertaking roadworthy inspections.
The ideal applicant will be qualified and experienced as an automotive technician, authorized and certified with Vic Roads to carry out roadworthy certificates or willing to undertake certification after a probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect vehicles and follow set processes to identify mechanical issues required for sale preparation.
* Perform repairs to address identified issues and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
* Perform necessary services and maintenance tasks.
* Manage time efficiently to complete reconditioning tasks and issue roadworthy certificates promptly.
* Identify and report issues needing further attention to the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified and experienced automotive technician.
* Authorized and certified with Vic Roads to carry out roadworthy certificates or willing to undertake certification after a probation period.
* Good organizational skills and clear communication abilities.
