As the Merchandising Planner, you will manage the planning process to improve the MFP & OTB methods, ensuring forecast accuracy and optimizing sales and stock efficiency.
What you’ll do
* Translate global merchandising strategies into local seasonal financial objectives.
* Identify local areas of potential and unexplored opportunities to maximize sales, improve stock turn, and enhance positive margin trends.
* Keep OTB plans up to date and review them monthly with the Global team.
* Conduct weekly reviews to monitor merchandise OTB plans against last estimates and financial expectations.
* Communicate key promotional plan dates to the Global MFP/OTB team.
* Collaborate with local finance on budget setting and review to ensure merchandising forecasts are included in final budget targets.
* Align cross-functionally with finance and senior leadership to set stock and sell-in targets aligned with sales expectations.
* Analyze current inventory trends within the cluster and identify possible actions over the next 12 months to optimize KPIs.
You have:
* Experience in merchandising, merchandising planning, or demand planning within a multi/omni-channel company.
* Passion for the retail market in the cluster, with a deep understanding of seasonality and customer behavior.
* Strong communication skills with business stakeholders.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
* Detail-oriented with a strong drive to resolve issues.
* Excellent team working and collaboration skills.
