Job Description:
As part of our engineering team, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of low-voltage electrical systems. Working under the mentorship of a Senior Engineer, this role involves hands-on responsibilities in all project stages from concept and detailed design to site testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and review electrical designs for power distribution, substations, and industrial applications
* Perform load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and protection coordination studies.
* Manage projects from feasibility and design to execution and commissioning.
* Work with transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and other critical HV/MV components.
* Ensure designs adhere to Australian regulations and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Requirements:
* RPEQ status is an advantage
* Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineering Degree
* Experience with mining, utilities, and heavy industry projects
* HV/MV design experience.
