About this opportunity:
* Plan, organise, supervise, and undertake civil construction and maintenance works.
* Operate heavy mechanical plant, particularly motor graders (>35kw), and other road construction equipment.
* Perform hands-on labouring tasks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members.
* Implement traffic management plans and maintain environmental best practices.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Current General Construction Safety "White" Card.
* Current QLD "C" ClassDriver's Licence (or interstate equivalent).
* Verification of competency to operate motor grader (>35kw).
* Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation.
* Experience operating heavy mechanical plant and supervising small to medium-sized teams.
* Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
