Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on National Logistics Manager to lead our national distribution and transport operations.
This is a key leadership role where you will drive real change, shape supply chain strategy, and deliver exceptional outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the GM Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic leadership of our domestic supply chain. This includes overseeing three national Distribution Centres, a multi-provider transport network, and key 3PL relationships.
You will drive cost control, optimise stock flow, and ensure high-performance outcomes while contributing to broader business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead national DC operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and service excellence
* Manage performance of transport providers to meet cost and service benchmarks
* Deliver continuous improvement and cost optimisation across logistics
* Provide executive coaching to DC leaders and build high-performing teams
* Partner with internal stakeholders (Operations, Planning, Property) to align logistics with business goals
* Oversee strategic supply chain projects to support business growth and transformation
* Maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers and external logistics partners
* Full P&L accountability for logistics and transport functions
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in a senior logistics, supply chain, or DC leadership role
* Expertise in managing multi-site DC operations, transport, and 3PL partnerships
* Strong commercial acumen and P&L management experience
* Track record of delivering efficiency gains, cost reductions, and service improvements
* A collaborative leadership style with a focus on coaching, development, and performance
* Experience leading large-scale change and transformation projects
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
* Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
