As our project pipeline expands, we are seeking a strategic and practical Principal Project Services to lead and develop our Project Services function, establish scalable systems and governance frameworks, and support the successful delivery of mining projects across a diverse client portfolio.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, the Principal Project Services will lead MineBuild's Project Services function and be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the project services systems, governance frameworks, and reporting processes that support the effective delivery of mining projects across study, planning, development, and execution phases.
This role will provide leadership across project services, project controls, commercial management, financial modelling, reporting and project support functions while ensuring practical, fit-for-purpose systems are applied in alignment with project complexity, client requirements and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead MineBuild's Project Services function and mentor Project Services personnel.
* Develop and maintain project governance frameworks, management systems, reporting processes and delivery tools.
* Establish and maintain document management, information management and resource planning systems.
* Lead development and implementation of project controls, budgeting, forecasting and cost management frameworks.
* Provide oversight of procurement, tendering, contracts administration and commercial management activities.
* Support identification and management of commercial and contractual risks.
* Lead development and review of project financial models, cashflow forecasts and commercial assessments.
* Support mining project feasibility studies including NPV, IRR and cashflow analysis.
* Coordinate technical reporting, feasibility study documentation and project deliverables.
* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
About You
Extensive experience in project services, project controls, contracts, commercial management within the mining, resources or infrastructure sectors.
Experience working within owner's teams, client-side, EPCM or infrastructure delivery environments.
Strong understanding of project governance, project controls, commercial management and reporting systems.
Experience developing practical and scalable project delivery systems, documentation standards and reporting frameworks.
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
High levels of accountability, professionalism and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong focus on delivering outcomes.
Qualifications
Qualification in Project Management, Commerce, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Current Driver's Licence.
