We are seeking a committed Intensive Caseworker to join our Youth Justice Community Support Services team and help young people build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.
About the Role
As an Intensive Caseworker in our Youth Justice Community Support Services team, you will:
- Provide integrated and intensive voluntary support to young people involved with Youth Justice.
- Facilitate skill development in areas such as independent living, problem solving, and community engagement.
- Support young people and their families to reduce the rate, severity and frequency of offending behaviour.
- Promote engagement in education, training and employment opportunities.
- Collaborate with a passionate and professional team dedicated to creating meaningful change.
Position Details
- Fixed term position until 1 September 2026
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $110,379 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, resilience and a strong commitment to youth justice. You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, or Community Welfare (Diploma or higher), or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in case management with vulnerable individuals and families, including those exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- A trauma-informed approach and the ability to conduct needs assessments and risk evaluations to inform planning and interventions.
- A commitment to the Victorian Child Safe Standards and fostering a child-safe culture in your work.
Experience working with high-risk youth and familiarity with frameworks such as the Best Interests Case Practice Framework and tools like Justice Star and Youth Star will be highly regarded.
