SMC is currently seeking a proactive Senior Sales & Project Officer to support our sales, marketing, and project operations. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of critical business activities, enabling the sales team to focus on growth and market expansion.
To succeed in this role, you need to be energetic, organised, and detail-oriented, with strong project coordination and analytical skills. Your ability to provide seamless administrative and project support will help drive outstanding outcomes while bringing our company's values and mission to life for our customers.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Sales Administration: Manage reporting, new customer accounts, sales data entry, and performance tracking. Assist in implementing and monitoring sales processes.
* Training & Events: Coordinate training, workshops, onboarding, branch events, and customer functions.
* Sales Support: Prepare and submit sales quotes, tenders, proposals, orders, bids, and pricing across ANZ.
* Project Administration: Coordinate tenders, manage resources, maintain project documentation, schedule meetings, take minutes, track action items, and mitigate resourcing risks.
* Customer Service: Monitor Zendesk for emails, invoicing, quoting, and general customer requests.
* Marketing Support: Liaise between sales and marketing, maintain marketing materials, merchandise, and samples, and assist with content collection for campaigns and social media

Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in sales support, office administration, or coordination roles, ideally within an Industrial or Engineering B2B environment.
* Exposure to a Project Management Office (PMO) environment will be highly regarded.
* Demonstrated experience in reporting, data analysis, and CRM systems.
* Strong MS Office capability, including intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
* Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive, enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic, high-performing environment.
