We provide complete refrigeration solutions, including design, construction, and servicing for sectors like mining, chemical, food, and beverage. The Role
We are seeking a passionate Graduate Engineer to join our office in Rydalmere. This role offers exciting challenges and career advancement opportunities as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions
- Prepare estimates and tender submissions for minor projects
- Evaluate and modify existing refrigeration systems to meet client needs
- Market GBI's services, including consulting, maintenance, and parts supply, with a focus on customer support
- Manage projects, negotiate with suppliers, coordinate designs, procure materials, and oversee project administration
- Manage project costs and ensure successful completion
- Prepare risk assessments and ensure compliance with Australian and international standards
- Draft designs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, sketches, etc.
- Conduct safety and engineering audits on-site, compiling client reports
- Contribute to internal system development to improve engineering and project management processes
- Perform administrative duties related to engineering and projects
- Supervise and assist with commissioning activities
- Assist in delivering technical training internally and externally
- Ensure health and safety at the workplace and cooperate with management to comply with legislation
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
The Successful Applicant Will Have
- A minimum B.Eng. in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering
- Ability to interpret drawings and concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, autonomous work approach
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with various professionals
- Valid driver's license
Additional Duties
- Support delivery of GBI's services to customers, ensuring contractual compliance
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Develop expertise in GBI's systems
- Proactively address technical and non-technical incidents
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent GBI positively
