**About the role**
Scene Change is growing its operations across three great Merivale venues: the IVY, SCG and the new Allianz Stadium. AV in Merivale venues is very different to hotels. Merivale is focused on the customer experience and work as a tight, supportive team with the Scene Change staff to deliver successful events with high production values.

We believe in giving you all the backing you need to deliver great shows. You'll never have to beg for new gear at Scene Change. We don't tolerate old gear or knock-off brands, that's why we only buy equipment our crew can trust.
You'll work with a tight, experienced team that has each other's backs so we can comfortably deliver shows that you'll be proud of. Not just regular venue AV shows but also high-end productions.
**Looking for all kinds of AV people**
We are looking for an events AV Technician who has experience in carrying out excellent live AV Production. You might be working in another venue now and thinking: _I could use some more support here and I'm tired of making excuses to clients._
We're all about support and respect for the people on site. Everyone in management used to be an AV technician and our entire goal is getting you clear information and the best equipment you could ask to work with.
The successful applicant will:
- Be punctual, clean and well presented, as the face of Scene Change on events
- Be responsible for delivering events from a live technical perspective
- Assist Venue Managers with technical information as required
- Manage client relationships during the event phase
- Manage relationships with venues and other stakeholders onsite
- Actively promote company interests and goals
- Participate in betterment of staff skills, morale and refinement of procedures
- High level attention to detail & troubleshooting skills
- Perform regular repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Be proactive in identifying upgrades/advancements that could be made to the venue from a technical perspective, and communicate these effectively to the Venue Manager
- Be able to assist with Scene Change Sydney events outside of the venues during quiet periods in venues
- Have at least 3 years technical experience with live Audio Video and Lighting
- Ideally be competent with live, hybrid and virtual events
