SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.The Registered Nurse will provide a comprehensive Child and Family Health Nursing service, with home visits, clinic visits and group work to Aboriginal families with children aged 0-5 years, within the context of current policies and “best practice”.The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person-centred, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes, using a culturally sensitive, trauma informed approach.The Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the broader multidisciplinary team. This will involve undertaking physical, emotional, and psychological assessments to identify family strengths and vulnerabilities, to enable early identification and interventions.There may be a requirement for the Registered Nurse to work in universal and/or targeted Child and Family Health Nursing services.The BenefitsUp to 12 allocated days off each year in addition to annual leave.Salary packaging options that reduce your taxable income and increase your take-home pay!
