Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Leading Hand to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity while overseeing all service repair work.
Responsibilities
* Assist in leading the Repairs crew, providing guidance and proactive leadership skills.
* Support Team leaders and/or Supervisors in achieving business objectives.
* Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
* Champion safety culture among team members and subcontractors.
* Inspect equipment and raise job requests for defective parts/components found.
* Maintain a professional image representing the organization externally.
Requirements
* A Certificate III in Mechanical, Machinist, or Fabrication is required.
* Experience in a leading hand position with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and customers.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
* Ability to train and develop others to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
