Johnson's Trucks Mildura are seeking a skilled and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic team. This is a key customer-facing role that requires a combination of strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide tailored solutions to our commercial vehicle clients. As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles, keeping their fleets running smoothly and efficiently.

You will be working in a collaborative environment, where your input is highly valued. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a parts interpretation or customer service role within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry, and a strong desire to grow with us long-term.

Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Interaction: Liaise with customers to understand their parts requirements and provide accurate and timely solutions.
* Parts Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's extensive parts inventory and their applications for various commercial vehicles.
* Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and correct invoicing.
* Quotations & Pricing: Provide customers with up-to-date pricing information and quotations.
* Stock Management: Assist with inventory control, stock management, and record-keeping to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
* Technical Support: Collaborate with the parts and service teams to resolve complex technical queries and provide the best solutions for our clients.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction.
* Team Support: Support the parts department with front and back counter sales and other day-to-day duties as required.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a parts interpretation or customer service role within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
* Mechanical Knowledge: Strong product knowledge with the ability to identify the correct parts for each customer's needs. A background in mechanical work is highly beneficial.
* Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers, answer their queries, and provide the right solutions.
* Problem-Solving: Proven ability to handle customer issues and find solutions promptly.
* Attention to Detail: High-level attention to detail when processing orders and maintaining accurate records.
* Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using parts catalogues and inventory management systems. Willingness to learn new systems is essential.
* Team Player: Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Work Availability: Willingness to work one Saturday morning per month, along with flexibility to assist with overtime if needed.
