About the Opportunity
Our Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is seeking a Senior Executive Coordinator to provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer in a fast-paced government environment.
Working within the Office of the CEO, this role is a key point of contact and trusted partner to the CEO, supporting complex workflows, shifting priorities and sensitive matters, while engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders. The role is Sydney-based with flexible working arrangements (minimum three days per week in the office).
You will be joining a high performing team and will work closely with the Executive Manager and Manager Executive Coordination in supporting the CEO. The Senior Executive Coordinator is the key point of contact in the Office of the CEO and will use their proven track record in managing an executive to thrive in a high paced environment.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have relevant experience in providing executive support to senior executives and the proven ability to interpret and apply government protocols and administration policies, processes and procedures. You will have the demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and provide consistently high levels of support and attention to detail, despite heavy workloads short deadlines and the need to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
You are self-motivated and take initiative to identify and fill gaps in a high-pressure team environment to ensure optimal operations of the executive leadership and the overall organisation and exercising judgement in resolution of issues.
You will also be proficient in Microsoft Office and records management applications.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government's Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state's electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State's first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
