As Head Of Department - Performing Arts, You Will
* Lead a dynamic faculty in the design and delivery of high-quality curriculum and co-curricular programs that foster creativity, excellence and student engagement.
* Provide strategic leadership across Performing Arts disciplines and the Instrumental Music Program from Year 3 to Year 12, supporting pathways and opportunities for students across a broad P-12 context.
* Oversee curriculum development, implementation and continuous improvement across the faculty, and contribute to the broader strategic direction of the college as a member of the Leadership Team.
Responsibilities Include
* Lead the development, implementation and review of Performing Arts curriculum across Years 6 to 12, aligned with college and departmental priorities.
* Provide strategic oversight and leadership of the Instrumental Music Program from Years 3 to 12, including supporting program quality, pathways and student participation.
* Drive improvement in teaching and learning through coaching, feedback and targeted professional development.
* Lead and manage staff to build a collaborative, high‐performing and innovative team culture.
* Oversee curriculum planning, assessment and reporting practices across Performing Arts subjects and programs.
* Support and strengthen excellence pathways, co‐curricular opportunities and community partnerships within the arts.
