About The Team
Our Interstate Network is responsible for the management of approximately 6,000km of track and servicing a broad range of supply chains. The team comprises more than 500 staff and 24 provisioning centres and depots, which continued to deliver major corridor maintenance works and projects across the country to increase the efficiency and capacity of Australia's rail network.
About The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Hi-Rail Excavator Operators to join our team working across the ARTC Interstate Network. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic crew delivering critical rail infrastructure projects.
In this field-based position, you will contribute to a range of maintenance and civil works projects, including Re-railing, Undercutting, Formation upgrades, Vegetation management and General civil works. A key part of the role involves the safe and efficient operation of specialised machinery, including, Hi-Rail Excavators, Dump Trucks and Front-End Loaders.
You will be required to work flexible rosters depending on operational needs with regular travel and time away from home.
What do we want from you?
* Operational experience with mobile plant in a railway environment
* Rail Industry Worker Competencies
* General Construction Induction card (white card)
* Current Driver's Licence - HR and above highly regarded.
* Strong self-motivation and reliability
* Flexibility with working hours, including overtime
* Willingness to travel and work away from home as required
