About the role
This position will help deliver a major digital transformation that supports animal welfare across Victoria.
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to lead a full website redevelopment project, including a major re-platform and future redesign. This role is suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, communicates clearly, and can confidently manage technical detail and diverse stakeholders.
What you will do:
* Lead the website redevelopment project from planning through to launch
* Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
* Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external digital agencies
* Oversee CMS migration, system integrations, and technical requirements
* Ensure strong quality assurance, testing, and governance throughout the project lifecycle
* Produce clear project documentation and provide regular stakeholder updates
* Support product ownership activities and contribute to broader digital strategy initiatives
What you will bring:
* Has proven experience delivering website redevelopment or digital transformation projects.
* Brings a strong technical understanding of CMS platforms, APIs, hosting environments, and integrations.
* Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
* Has high attention to detail with strong organisational and project coordination capability.
* Is experienced in using project management tools and applying appropriate delivery methodologies.
* Can translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
* Has experience in digital product ownership, digital marketing, or contributing to digital strategy.
* Understands accessibility standards and/or has experience working in not-for-profit or purpose-driven organisations.
