Boeing ACEASP Maintenance Operations Manager - F/A 18F Training Flight

Are you an experienced aviation maintenance leader ready to step up and make an impact? Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a First Level MRO Manager to lead one of two shifts leading the high-performing team supporting the line operations and sustainment maintenance operations for the F/A-18F Super Hornet program Training Flight.

About the Role
You will:
* Lead a multidisciplinary maintenance and support team delivering serviceable jets on the flight line to meet the required flying program while supporting the scheduled and emergent line maintenance activities.
* Manage day-to-day operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient MRO execution in accordance with approved procedures and technical data.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to technicians and engineers, promoting a culture of first-time quality, safety, and accountability.
* Coordinate closely with maintenance planning, fleet management, engineering, and supply chain to achieve schedule performance and resource efficiency across both RAAF and Boeing entities.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardisation across maintenance operations.
* Represent BDA to customer stakeholders, fostering trusted relationships and ensuring program objectives are met.
About You
You're an established maintenance or production leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You bring:
* Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance management or production leadership (ADF, Defence industry, or civil MRO).
* A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., DASR Part 145, AS9110, CASA or equivalent).
* Proven ability to manage people, performance, and priorities in a safety-critical environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive approach to quality, safety, and continuous improvement,
* A willingness to work a rotating shift pattern (two weeks earlies, two weeks late)
* Ideally have a familiarity in the maintenance schedule of the Super Hornet.
* An ability to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).
