Leadership Opportunity in Social Work
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Social Worker to join our team as a leader. As a key member of the Allied Health Heads of Department leadership team, you will be responsible for operational, professional, and strategic management of the Social Work department.
This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your knowledge, skills, and experience in a healthcare setting to drive change and improve outcomes. You will work collaboratively with other departments to provide high-quality services to patients and their families.
About the Role:
* Lead a dedicated staffing group to achieve organisational objectives
* Provide guidance and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Manage budgets and resources to achieve financial goals
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and communication
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work recognised by the AASW
* Eligibility for AASW national accreditation status
* Extensive knowledge, skills, and experience in a health care setting
* Ability to manage a budget, meet deadlines, set goals, and manage projects
* Sound knowledge and demonstrated skills in human resource management issues
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
