The Role
Reporting to the GM Customer Offer Support, this key national role is responsible for leading the end-to-end trade planning process across our network. You will oversee strategic and operational planning across promotions and campaigns, drive alignment between marketing and merchandise teams, and ensure our trade strategy is executed with commercial rigour and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
The National Trade Planning Manager will lead the RAMP (Range, Availability, Marketing, and Pricing) process, enabling a collaborative approach to trade planning while ensuring compliance and delivery of commercial goals.
You will provide:
* End-to-end ownership of trade planning cycles, including annual and monthly planning meetings and retrospective reviews
* Leadership of RAMP sign-off and compliance processes, including preparation of supporting documentation and follow-ups
* Coordination between marketing, merchandise, finance, supply chain, and operations to drive campaign and promotional alignment
* Commercial validation of plans in partnership with finance to ensure viability and delivery against sales targets
* Management and coaching of Promotions Coordinators to strengthen process capability and cross-functional collaboration
* Process improvement initiatives to enhance trade planning effectiveness across the business
* Clear and accurate communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and drive alignment

About You
* Strong background in merchandise or trade planning within a retail, grocery, or QSR environment
* Extensive knowledge of promotional planning processes and systems
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
* Results-driven mindset with a hands-on, commercial approach
* Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present and influence at all levels
* Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); basic project management experience desirable
* Proven leadership and coaching capabilities
* Curious, empathetic, and collaborative mindset aligned to OTR values
