Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the effective daily operation of the kitchen, while developing their cookery skills and creativity.
They will maintain equipment, utensils, and a clean hygienic kitchen environment, ensuring a consistent high-quality product and standard.
* Rotate stock and minimise wastage
* Follow directions from senior chefs and work as a team player
* Follow WHS, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
* Completed a Certificate 3 in Cookery qualification is essential
* Skilled & developed knife skills & cookery techniques are required
* A genuine passion for food and cooking, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are necessary
* Ability to thrive in a large, busy, fast-paced professional kitchen environment with efficiency, organisation, and attention to detail
* Clear communication skills, able to follow direction, and work well in a team environment
* Excellent personal presentation is expected
