This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a high-performing secretarial team, providing essential administrative and secretarial support to both junior and senior lawyers. You'll play a key role in managing and supporting our lawyers lead our diverse portfolio of Local, State, and Commonwealth Government clients and private clients.The role offers plenty of variety including:Creating, drafting, editing and formatting a range of legal correspondence and documents including tender bundles and briefs to counselAssisting with project managing files including drafting cost agreements, monitoring fee estimates and client reportingEnd to end monthly billing including timesheets, and bill finalisationHandling court diaries and lawyers calendarsCoordinating meetings and internal/external functions and eventsOpening/closing matters including e-filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert and iManageArranging travel and reconciling expenses on a monthly basisWe offer a comprehensive induction and training program upon joining Maddocks and provide opportunities to further develop your skills and interests through regular training and networking sessions.About youWe're looking for a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently exceeds expectations.
