Co-located with Findon High School, Findon Technical College is the first South Australian Technical College to open. Findon Technical College offers three industry training programs specialising in Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Early Childhood Education & Care, and Health & Social Support. The college partners with high-profile employers, training providers and higher education partners.
We are searching for an exceptional Industry Trainer to join our dynamic Health and Social Support team and make a positive impact on our students by supporting students to develop their industry knowledge and skills.
This will include:
- Development and delivery of a broad range of industry experience in Health and Social Support identified through RTO and Industry consultation.
- Monitoring and evaluating program delivery and student outcomes in the Technical College
- Liaison with industry to monitor relevant trends to identify emerging opportunities for learning activities.
- Developing and delivery of industry immersion activities for students to undertake within specialisation.
- Providing information at careers evenings for students and parents and providing support to students in the facilitation of work placements and undertake regular employer site visits.
What you will need:
- Demonstrated capacity to work with and build professional relationships with all stakeholders including young people, parents, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction to strategically analyse and evaluate user requirements to develop efficient systems and processes that optimise student outcomes.
- Proven ability to keep up to date in the trade/qualified area and continually develops skills & knowledge.

Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment.
