Sheetmetal Worker position has become available for someone with experience.
Job Description:
* Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
* Sheetmetal Welder with experience in Mig welding 1.5mm – 2.0mm – (Custom Built Electrical Switchboard Fabrication an advantage).
* Quality Assurance with examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
* Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
* Observe or monitor objects to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards.
* Maintain workplace safety rules and regulations
* Ability to work unsupervised but also in a team environment
* Daily maintenance of welding machines and hand tools.
* Reports directly to management & production supervisor.
Essential Requirements:
* Mig Welding or Welding Trade Worker
* Current drivers' licence
* An ability to read & understand drawings
* A professional personality
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
