The role of the Director of People and Culture is pivotal in supporting the college's mission and vision by leading human resources, staff wellbeing, workplace planning and organisational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
 * Developing a people and performance strategy aligned to the college's strategic plan and values.
 * Providing expert advice on workforce capability, culture, performance and risks.
 * Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards and regulatory requirements.
 * Leading teams to deliver efficient and professional services with empathy.
 * Implementing a staff appraisal strategy that encompasses growth, feedback, addressing underperformance and managing complex staff matters.
 * Having a data-driven approach to staffing forecasts, succession planning and organisational design.
 * Championing wellbeing programs that align with the college's pastoral care principles.
Requirements
 * A strong personal faith aligned with the college's values.
 * A deep understanding of educational principles and passion for education.
 * Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business, Education or related field.
 * Senior leadership experience in HR or people leadership, with experience in HR best practice in an education setting.
 * A strategic thinker able to align people strategy with school priorities.
 * A high level of discretion, integrity and emotional intelligence.
 * Outstanding interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
