**What **you'll** do**:
- Lead the Portfolio Asset Planning team in undertaking medium term (2-10 year) planning for prudent and efficient capital investment and support the improvement of the planning.
- Collaborate with the Asset Regulatory Specialist, Asset Concepts and Solutions Planner as well as the Lead Project Asset Planner to implement improvements to the Asset Planning functions including interphases with other business functions.
- Responsible for System level of analysis in support of asset plans to provide the business with visibility of the implications of different asset investment scenarios.
- Ensure Early engagement with the project delivery team in the effective programming of works to enable effective, timely and efficient delivery.
- Lead team support for the development and defence of regulatory pricing submissions.
**What we are looking for**:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (engineering preferred) or equivalent level of operational experience.
- Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of Asset Management Plans
- Experience in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in working within a team environment to achieve corporate and business unit objectives and maximise operational performance.
- Understanding of how asset planning contributes to the efficient delivery of customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of asset management.
