The Role
Land Command, Control, Communications & Computer Systems (LC4S) Branch is seeking a highly motivated individual with logistics experience to provide support to an integrated workforce, in a Logistics Officer role. To be successful, there is a requirement to understand materiel logistics practices within the capability lifecycle, with experience in supply chain, asset management or a sustainment product background being highly desirable. We are looking for candidates with experience using detailed computer based systems, exposure to contracts and use of data, as well as procurement processes. We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals who possess strong communication skills, who will be an integral member of an integrated workforce. You will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, along with the capacity to work effectively in productive teams.

We are responsible for delivering both Acquisition and Sustainment of Command and Control, Communication, and Compute Systems to Army and Joint Force. The Battlespace Communications Systems team manage a large fleet of communications assets, with a high tempo of supply chain movements, for a wide range of Defence users.

Our Ideal Candidate
LC4S Branch / Battlespace Communications Systems is seeking applicants with a depth of experience in logistics, supply chain or asset management and an ability to work within a team, to deliver timely logistics and supply chain results to our customers.
Key attributes and experience we are looking for:
- Experience working in and/or providing support to Integrated Logistics Support management and legislative frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large and complex computer based supply systems.
- An Innovative and adaptive thinker, who will take accountability whilst managing workload and responsibilities to meet priorities and routine work.
- A confident communicator, who is collaborative, agile and can effectively work within an integrated team environment.
- Sound logistics and supply chain acumen and a demonstrated comparable to the depth of the Defence Industry sector in Australia.
- Sound initiative and judgement in working with policy and processes to ensure accurate and efficient supply chain management.
Eligibility
Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Negative Vetting Level 1”.
