Role 
Payroll & HR Officer — detail-oriented, tech-savvy, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This hands-on, multifaceted role combines end-to-end payroll management with comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle. It’s ideally suited to a proactive go-getter who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is passionate about making a meaningful impact through efficient processes and exceptional support. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Payroll Management : Accurately process monthly and fortnightly payroll for approximately 180 employees. 
- HR Administration : Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, award interpretation and administration support. 
- Recruitment Support : Assist with job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communications. 
- Compliance & Documentation : Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR and Quality standards. 
- Policy & Process Improvement : Contribute to the development and refinement of Company policies and procedures. 
- Employee Experience : Drive continuous improvement in HR and payroll systems to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency. 
What You’ll Bring 
- Proven experience in Payroll Processing & HR Administration. 
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and award interpretation. 
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset to see tasks through to completion. 
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. 
- Hands-on experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS, with the ability to navigate and analyse backend functionalities. 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft professional correspondence. 
- Capability to thrive in a energetic and varied role, handling multiple priorities with ease.
