We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the protection of mission systems.
This role requires a deep understanding of satellite operations, spacecraft orbit, and ground station characteristics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to government's mission success through comprehensive analysis and thought leadership on mission protection activities.
* Collaborate with internal and external entities for activities associated with site and mission inspections and report findings and recommendations.
* Coordinate and support assessment of mission essential functions.
* Support Weapons and Tactics teams by assessing current and emerging threats and providing vetted analysis and recommendations.
* Monitor and evaluate war games and exercises and capture and assess lessons learned for best practice implementation.
Qualifications:
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
* Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or relevant field, and nine (9) years or more relevant experience; Masters in STEM or relevant field, and seven (7) years or more relevant experience.
* In-depth knowledge of satellite operations and related mission protection topics.
