We are seeking professionals with skills in Fabrication, Mechanical, or Composites (carbon fibre) work to join our training team.
You'll be delivering engaging content to students preparing for careers in engineering and manufacturing, using real world knowledge to bring training to life for Certificate II in Engineering (Pre-Apprenticeship) and VET in Schools (VETiS) programs to high school students and recent school leavers.
This is an opportunity to share your industry experience in a hands on, practical setting, helping young learners build confidence and job ready skills in the engineering trades.
About You:
* A trade background in Fabrication, Mechanical, or Composites (Carbon Fibre manufacturing)
* A passion for teaching and mentoring young people having worked with Apprentices
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (preferred, but not essential)
* Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or Mechanical Trade
* Certificate IV in Engineering (desirable)
* Diploma of Engineering – Technical or Fabrication (desirable)

Salary:
Casual Teacher L1 | $86.15 (teaching) and $58.56 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $89.54 (teaching) and $60.86 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $93.08 (teaching) and $63.23 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
