The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bottleshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Thirsty Camel bottleshop. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the bottleshop.
* Lead, train, and roster staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
* Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and RSA requirements.
* Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.
* Implement merchandising and promotional displays.
* Manage cash handling, banking, and daily reporting.
* Monitor KPIs and drive sales targets.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a retail or bottleshop management role (preferred in liquor retail).
* Experience using H&L point-of-sale and stock management software (essential).
* Current RSA certificate (essential).
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage stock, budgets, and sales reporting.
* High level of customer service with a hands-on approach.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
