Internal Sales Representative (Training to Field Sales) – Fencing, Gates & Garage Doors
WR Engineering is currently experiencing significant growth and is expanding our Sales Team in the Canberra region.
We specialise in the supply and installation of Garage Doors & Openers, as well as Fencing, Screens, and Gates, delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to residential and commercial clients.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative who is interested in developing their career into a Field Sales Representative role. The successful candidate will initially support the sales team from the office by assisting with quotes, customer enquiries, and sales administration, while receiving training to eventually transition into conducting site inspections, taking measurements, and managing their own sales portfolio in the field.
Key Responsibility
Internal Sales (Initial Role)
* Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries via phone and email
* Prepare quotes, proposals, and correspondence for clients
* Support the sales team with administration, data entry, and reporting
* Assist with lead management and customer follow-ups
* Maintain high levels of customer service and client satisfaction
Field Sales (Progression Role)
* Conduct site inspections and measurements
* Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and correspondence for clients across residential, public, and commercial sectors
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Work towards sales targets and KPIs set by management
* Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Take ownership of the estimating and quoting process to ensure accurate and successful project outcomes
* Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
* Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety standards
* Continue professional development and product knowledge
* Work both independently and as part of a team, solving problems as they arise
Training will be provided on internal systems and software databases.

Desirable
* Experience in sales, customer service, or administration
* Experience in construction, fencing, garage doors, or building-related industries
