This role will harness your knowledge of the supply chain landscape and deep sales insights to drive a more cohesive sales team. Your role will see you as the conduit for our teams to go to for day-to-day business decision fundamentals to ensure business continuity and growth.
You will collaborate across the business to drive critical decisions, work closely with functional teams, and ensure we are seen to be working together as one team.
Your ability to build relationships internally & externally to achieve business outcomes and keep everyone on the same page will be a key success measure.
This role will provide the opportunity to move into a key leadership role, either in sales management, over time. Aptitude to manage and develop sales teams is a key selection criterion.
Requirements
Relationship/Stakeholder Management
* Setting and assisting with measuring team KPIs
* Working with key stakeholders across the business to facilitate collaboration
* Exhibiting strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities
* Building trust through demonstrated decision-making attributes
* Being a key contact for the sales team to provide assistance and decision-making
* Assisting with reinforcing key focus areas for our sales team
* Identifying knowledge gaps within teams to coordinate cross-training and knowledge sharing
* Driving QBRs with partners
Operations
* Ensuring alignment and collaboration between Operations, Partner Experience, and Systems Improvement teams
* Driving sales operations support in annual planning
* Recommending changes to create efficiencies
* Forward planning for growth
* Being fully informed on key vendor offerings
* Reviewing the adoption of new offerings internally
* Providing a deep understanding of the numbers and pipeline management
* Supporting sales for strategic objectives, including reporting requirements
* Conducting GAP analysis for sales development and performance
* Providing necessary information to the CRO to drive sales objectives
* Joining external meetings to stay updated on initiatives
* Regularly meeting with the COO to review key metrics and strategy
* Refining and, where necessary, recommending changes as the strategy is implemented
Key Candidate Requirements
* Experience and success working within or with cybersecurity distributors
* Experience in executing sales and marketing programs and strategies for growth
* Strong cybersecurity experience and knowledge, with the ability to understand vendor and partner requirements
* Experience with multi-faceted business models
* Understanding of different GTM service delivery models, e.g., managed services
* Superior negotiation and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to lead, review, and execute multiple strategic projects with sharp attention to detail
* The ability to engender respect and trust with internal and external stakeholders
* Highly developed presentation skills, demonstrating creativity and innovation when presenting ideas and working through partner strategies
