Exciting Career Opportunity


As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing focused psychological strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of young people and families accessing our service within a community-based mental health care setting.



Job Description


Our team is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinician to provide high-standard assessments, psychological, counselling and therapeutic interventions to support the mental health and well-being of young people.


You will have opportunities to run group programs, liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the development of our service.



Required Skills and Qualifications


* General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
* Extensive & demonstrated experience providing clinical services to young people (12-25 years)
* Well-developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planning
* Sound understanding of the public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs and associated non-mental health programs in a community setting
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness
