We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Central Café!
About the opportunity
This unique opportunity will allow you to work in a fast paced, vibrant venue, overseeing the operational performance of the kitchen team and optimising efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborating with the Head Chef, you will actively contribute to menu changes and ensure the delivery of exceptional food and service standards. Additionally, you will assist with rostering, food costing, and stock ordering.
About you
To excel in this role, you should possess demonstrated experience and knowledge of working in a cafe-style kitchen environment in a leadership position. Your ability to inspire, engage, and develop your team will be key in optimizing kitchen performance. You should thrive in fast paced service environments and have a track record of developing training programs or teaching and training junior staff. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to providing extraordinary customer service are essential in enhancing the overall guest experience at Central Café. You must hold relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications and possess a Food Safety Certificate.
