Role Overview
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist (full or part‑time) to support our Waratah 4 Kids program providing therapy support to children in the Murrumbidgee region. The role will be based in our Albury office on Wiradjuri Country, but we are open to other locations for the right candidate.
Program Description
Waratah For Kids is a program designed to provide therapy support to children in their communities. You will support communities with screening and assessment, deliver short‑term intervention, support referral to other services and offer educational support to build caregiver capacity. You will work closely with other community supports including the Waratah 4 Kids Paediatric Linker to ensure children get the support they need. The program caters for families with children aged 0‑7 years facing developmental or behavioural challenges who are not linked into therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person‑centred, goal‑focused services to children and adults in local and rural communities.
* Help develop, implement and evaluate cutting‑edge service delivery models, including outreach and telehealth.
* Partner with clients, their families, and other health professionals (government and non‑government) to create the best care possible.
* Maintain high‑quality documentation and clinical records.
* Contribute to ongoing quality assurance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia.
