A major bank is seeking a Senior Cloud Devops (AWS) Engineer on a full-time basis.
Role can be based out of Sydney or Melbourne and the team work 2 days in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, automation of AWS foundation services, security, compliance and cost of AWS services and the platform.
- Lead the build, deployment, and operations of automated AWS enabled application environments, patterns, tools, and platforms.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AWS service by participating in project delivery.
- Coaching and mentoring team in delivery.
- Deployment of enterprise controls from AWS policies, and enterprise logging and monitoring of solutions
Key Skills/ Experience:
- Experience in AWS architecture styles, design principles, cloud design patterns, security and compliance automation, automated provisioning and deployments
- Tech Lead / consulting experience
- Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
- Customer engagement, relationship development, requirements gathering and delivery planning & scheduling.
- Expert hands on experience in AWS technologies.
- Jenkins and Github
- EKS
- Expert terraform experience
- Understanding of microservices architecture and supporting technology
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- AWS cloud certification is highly desired.
